THAILAND 2026

OUR 2026 DESTINATION: THAILAND

Thailand is the ideal setting for Vivaria’s immersion programmes because it brings together everything our model requires.

From dynamic urban centres to community-driven rural regions, Thailand offers the perfect ecosystem for students to explore sustainability, enterprise, and social impact in a way that is hands-on, authentic, and transformative.

A Fast-Evolving Economy

With a population of 66 million, Thailand is a regional leader in consumer markets, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, and digital services.

Its growing startup ecosystem, from agritech to fintech, creates real opportunities for students to engage with innovation, enterprise, and problem-solving on the ground.

A Push Toward Sustainability

Thailand is accelerating its transition toward low-carbon growth, including national policies on renewable energy, circular economy, clean mobility, and community forestry.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand is recognised globally for strong ESG disclosure standards, making the country an important hub for climate and sustainability practice in Asia.

Rich Community Networks

Beyond the cities, Thailand’s villages and local organisations play a central role in agriculture, craft industries, conservation, and social innovation.

These community-led models make Thailand an ideal setting for students to learn how grassroots initiatives, SMEs, and social enterprises create real impact.

A Culture that Supports Learning

With deep traditions, vibrant creative industries, and a welcoming social fabric, Thailand offers a safe and engaging environment where students can connect, collaborate, and explore the country’s identity, not as tourists, but as active participants.
